Dr. David L. Galbut attended the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA, and received his medical degree in 1975. Then he served his surgical internship at Harvard Medical School. He conducted his general surgery residency at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center in New York. He completed his fellowship training in cardiothoracic surgery at Jackson Memorial Hospital and the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.
